Hi, I'm Manuel.
a Full Stack Software Engineer
I'm a self-taught developer who's been building software for the past two years to sharpen my skills. If you've got a project in mind or just want to chat about tech, feel free to reach out—I'd love to connect 🤝!
About.
Iam a career changer coming from a wide variety of industries including medical and logistics. I have been self studying how to code for the past 2 years. I never took a single programming or Computer Science class in college althought I was always pretty tech savvy, so I decided to give programming a shot to see if I liked it.
I started by teaching myself the basics starting with HTML and CSS, then Javascript for an hour or two every after work by following the "The Odin Project". After a year or so, I decided to go full time by joining Brainstation's bootcamp.

This section contains all my hardworked projects where each of them I spent countless sleepless nights to hone my coding skills from as simple as 'Weather app' to a more complex one like a fullstack streaming app which I recently launched 'Yengflix v3'.
Overview
This is the third and full-stack version of Yengflix, built as an attempt to explore Next.js's full-stack features. It now includes user registration, authentication, and favorite list persistence through a database. It has garnered 100+ user registrations from different countries on first day of launch and still growing. The first and second version can be found here and here, respectively.

Overview
I built this anime streaming platform as a request from my daughter, who loves watching anime, while also to explore Tailwind CSS and integrating prebuilt components like those from Flowbite, achieving over 3,000 page visits since its launch.

Overview
This is a website I built for a local Filipino restaurant managed by my wife, aiming to replace their manual phone order tracking system ( as they still do it by handwriting ) with an integrated order creation and printing feature. This app is still under development.

Idecided to include the small projects I build from when I was just learning to code to remind myself of how far I am on my coding journey ("because Impostor syndrome still strikes me from time to time 😭")
